Tis the Season for Art

Hi Everyone! Sorry for the long wait, I have been swamped with school work. Now that the semester is over I want to reflect on what this holiday season has brought me.
Before the break started, I presented an art history presentation on Marcel Duchamp, which I will attached to this post. Studying Marcel Duchamp was a challenge for me because of his overall attitude towards the art industry. Once you look beyond that, there are some important things that I took inspiration from, especially his courage to create pieces that were shocking not caring what others would say. I think everyone, especially artists should create work that makes show what they believe needs to be shown despite what society will think.
After the semester ended, I’ll be honest I wasn’t sure what to do with myself. I have working nonstop the whole semester and finally given the opportunity to relax I wasn’t sure what to do other than reflect. I found that this year has been one of the best for me! I have been given the opportunity to be graphic designer for my college campus event flyers and social media pages. I was also gifted with meeting some of the most amazing people I have ever met. They are the reason I believe in myself even more than I thought possible! This holiday season, I urge everyone to be with those who make you feel invincible because they are the ones that mean the most!
Enjoy the rest of your holiday!!!
